About Us

Our names are John David and Tinker Boyd. We have both always loved animals. We met in college where we earned our degrees in Marine Biology. After college we both worked in animal related fields; John David with the sea turtle head start program and Tinker as a zookeeper. We began keeping snakes (and other herps) in 1991 (the year we married), but only bred them occassionally. Now that our kids are grown, we have started putting more time into our hobby and hope to continue long into retirement.
